What makes a good report
- Use a clear title, category, district, area, and date.
- Add photos when possible, but cover sensitive numbers on IDs, bank cards, receipts, and documents.
- Describe visible features without revealing every private detail.
- Use the verification prompt for something only the real owner or finder should know.
Details to keep private
- Do not post full national ID numbers, passport numbers, bank card numbers, PINs, passwords, or account balances.
- Do not post a child's full identifying details. Use careful descriptions and involve a trusted adult or authority.
- Do not publish another person's phone number in the public description.
- For phones and electronics, avoid sharing unlock codes, IMEI numbers, or private account information publicly.
How claims are reviewed
Claimants answer a private verification question. A moderator can approve, reject, or keep the claim pending. Approved claims can move into the handover workflow.
Scam warning signs
- Someone asks for mobile money before showing proof.
- Someone refuses a public handover location.
- Someone pressures you to move quickly or avoid moderation.
- Someone sends screenshots that do not match the item, date, or location.
